During the spring, there were rumors of Mobb Deep severing ties via Twitter. Havoc made several posts, but later denied them. Soon, however, Havoc revealed his tweets indeed came from him and the Mobb Deep split began. In the time since then, Prodigy has been making his rounds, working with a number of the biggest artists in the game.
Prodigy has worked closely with Boogz Boogetz, the two have numerous songs together. In recent months, P has been promoting his new release, The Bumpy Johnson Album. Close to one month ago, Prodigy finally released the album. The album was met with mixed reviews, but helped keep Prodigy’s name on the lips of the hip hop community.
A veteran in the game, Prodigy, along with Nas, Jadakiss, Raekwon, and Busta Rhymes, continues to go strong as if he is in his prime. Prodigy recently landed a deal with Supra, the car produced by Toyota. Earlier today, Prodigy revealed he had a few products coming out with Supra. Among the products to be released from Prodigy and Supra will be a shoe line.
