In the days leading up to Dreams and Nightmares being officially released, Meek Mill is not making the traditional media rounds. Instead, Meek Mill is sitting down with Shaheem Reid for a series of interviews, released daily. During the promotion of Rich Forever, Rick Ross received a lot of support from Shaheem Reid.
Once again, Shaheem Reid is providing support to Maybach Music, but he is much more in-depth when it comes to Meek Mill. Before his time with MMG, Meek Mill took over the Philadelphia hip hop scene with his mixtapes, releasing one after the other. His run was comparable to Wale, his future label-mate, down to their failed relationships with other labels.
Through it all, both have found success with Maybach Music. Given what he has done, as far as building the talent around him, Rick Ross is beginning to receive legendary comments. As it currently stands, Meek Mill is a newcomer. However, he is thinking of his future and discussed being a legend in his latest interview with Shaheem Reid.
