Cash Money Records has gone over and beyond what most imprint labels do. Despite being distributed by Universal Records, the label distributes several labels, itself. Along the way, Cash Money also has a large roster of known artists. Busta Rhymes, Limp Bizkit, and Mystikal are among the veterans signed to the label.

There has been a lot of discussion about how Cash Money Records missed out on signing the entire Maybach Music Group. Birdman would have landed a major coup if he had the two hottest labels under Cash Money, with Young Money being the other. But, possibly a bigger coup would have been having The L.O.X. on the label.

Sheek Louch recently spoke on the status of The L.O.X. For some time, fans have been waiting on the trio to release a new album. In addition to updating the world on their new music, Sheek Louch also discussed how Lil Wayne recruited The L.O.X. for YMCMB. They would eventually turn it down, but Swizz Beatz and DJ Khaled will oversee their album.
