Most independent rappers primarily discuss the material things they have, as if they are rich without rapping. Truly, this is not the case for most of these artists, but the gimmick continues to work. However, there is an increasingly growing audience for those who “keep it real,” as Cliff Po often does.
Cliff Po is one of the hardest-working independent artists with goals of taking over the hip hop scene in New York. Over the past year, he has enjoyed some successes, as his “Trillz” music video has gained over 20,000 views. One of the most popular New York City independent rappers, Cliff Po is making his rounds.
Recently nominated for the ‘Buzz Factor of the Year Award’ at the All Star Music Awards, against the likes of Mysonne and French Montana, Cliff Po says dreams come true. Other things going for Cliff Po is the November 6 release of The Pharaoh EP. Cliff Po, alongside Solomon Childs, will also be headlining Hip Hop Vibe Indie Fest 2012.
