This Sunday, Hip Hop Vibe’s Open Mic Night will finally take place. Presented by Jax City Entertainment, the event will serve as an outlet for independent artists in the Jacksonville, North Carolina area. In addition to being an open mic night, showcasing the local talent, the event will also serve as a networking party. Guests at the event will have the opportunity to meet Cognac Gunna, Nelson Davis, Amelia DeVane, and Be Ea$y.
Much like Cognac Gunna, Be Ea$y has also made a name for himself on the Jacksonville club scene, catching the attention of many heavy-hitters in the industry. Be Ea$y has performed in several states and has rocked such local stages as Hooligans. Given his history on the independent hip hop scene, Be Ea$y was selected to judge at Hip Hop Vibe’s Open Mic Night.
Be Ea$y will be judging alongside the aforementioned Cognac Gunna, another fixture on the Jacksonville club scene, Nelson Davis, a rising actor and filmmaker, and Amelia DeVane, now known as Leigh and a popular model. Along with meeting these four judges, guests will also be treated to good music in a friendly atmosphere. On October 21, 2012 at the Orleans House, Hip Hop Vibe’s Open Mic Night begins.
