Coke Boy Brock releases “Shootin Up the Ceiling” music video

Though he is a member of French Montana’s Coke Boys, Coke Boy Brock is making his own name in the game. Much like French Montana, Coke Boy Brock has become one of New York City’s mixtape kings and has been working with many other artists. In addition to working with Droop Pop, Coke Boy Brock has also worked with popular Los Angeles rapper, DUBB.

Coke Boy Brock began to separate himself from the sea of up-and-coming New York rappers when he began trading disses with Shyne. A few weeks ago, Shyne released his Gangland mixtape, his first release in eight years. Shyne previously disappointed fans when he changed his style, moving away from his deep voice.

While Shyne was receiving praise for his mixtape on Twitter, Coke Boy Brock suggested Shyne should stop rapping altogether. Obviously offended by the statement, Shyne would call Coke Boy Brock a “creep,” among other things. It did not take long for the first diss record, “Shootin Up the Ceiling,” to be released. Now, Coke Boy Brock delivers the official music video.
