Years of hard work on the mixtape scene in Philadelphia have paid off for Meek Mill, who made it on several “next” lists. Earlier this year, Meek Mill made MTV’s annual list, “Hottest MCs in the Game.” Drawing some controversey, Meek Mill made the list over J. Cole, who had actually released an album.
This time, one year ago, J. Cole was the biggest name in the game, as he had just released Cole World. Now, Meek Mill is set to inherit this position, as his new album is to be released at the end of this month.Dreams & Nightmares was announced early this year and is now coming to life.
Meek Mill has been one of the biggest names in the rap game for close to two years, despite only releasing mixtapes during this span of time. Being a part of Maybach Music and stealing the show worked wonders for the young rapper. On October 30, the discussion will be over and the album will finally be delivered.
