One year ago, Talib Kweli revealed he was working on a new album, Prisoner of Conscious. Initially, the album was scheduled to be released early in 2012. However, Talib Kweli has delayed the album several times. Talib Kweli would go on to release his mixtape with Z-Trip, Attack the Block. The mixtape has done well.
However, the focus on the mixtape has taken the attention away from Talib Kweli’s long-awaited upcoming album. Talib Kweli, though his albums often meet numerous delays, keeps a consistent flow of music out. But, with his latest mixtape out, Talib Kweli is focused on continuing to make new music and has his new album on the way.
Talib Kweli took to his Twitter earlier today to announce his latest album, Prisoner of Conscious, will be released on November 20.
