New York is back and the movement led by French Montana. Releasing a consistent stream of music, French Montana caught the attention of the biggest artists in the rap game. Last year, a bidding war built for French Montana, as Jay-Z, Diddy, and Rick Ross all made offers for the Coke Boys head.
Building his buzz throughout the year, French Montana let his momentum carry over until the end of the year. French Montana would eventually announce he would sign with Diddy’s label, Bad Boy Records. Becoming the latest face of Bad Boy, French followed in the footsteps of Mase and Shyne.
Despite the shaky relationship with Diddy, Mase and French Montana have continued to work together. French Montana revealed Mase would appear on his debut album, Excuse My French. Vlad TV recently caught up with French Montana and he discussed Mase and DMX’s recent comeback.
