“I’m a brand, bitch, I’m a brand,” Nicki Minaj boasts on her “I Am Your Leader” single, which features Rick Ross and Cam’ron. Taken from her Roman Reloaded album, Nicki Minaj is simply boasting about the truth. Three years ago, Nicki Minaj was one of many mixtape rappers in New York City, however, she ended up signing with Lil Wayne’s Young Money.
Nicki Minaj helped to restore the female rap game, the first femcee to put out a notable album in well over two years. While many were impressed by Nicki Minaj, several fellow female rappers were simply annoyed by her. Rappers such as Lil’ Kim, Khia, and initially Foxy Brown, expressed ill will toward Nicki Minaj, only fueling her success.
Two years later, Nicki Minaj is launching her own perfume line. Perez Hilton recently caught up with the popular rapper and she would talk about one of her success brands.
