Being a native of Los Angeles, Snoop Dogg grew up being a fan of the Lakers. Once he made it big in the rap game, Snoop Dogg became friends with many members of the franchise. In recent years, Snoop Dogg has played a bit of a background role in the hip hop scene in Los Angeles, as Game and others have taken over.

However, Snoop Dogg typically delivers an album if not every year, every other year, changing his name to Snoop Lion for his latest project. Snoop Dogg went from being public enemy number one to a favorite in the eyes of the media. Twenty years ago, few would have ever picked Snoop Dogg as a comical TV personality.

Snoop Dogg recently paid a visit to ESPN’s “First Take,” entertaining Skip Bayless and company. During the interview, Snoop Dogg would discuss the Los Angeles Lakers, as they added Dwight Howard during the offseason to play alongside Kobe Bryant.
