A mixtape king, Yo Gotti has changed the way people think of the rap game, as his success has been tremendous, without releasing an official studio album. Yo Gotti, who hails from the city of Memphis, has released several independent albums. Those independent albums go right along with his mixtapes.
Early in 2012, Yo Gotti announced his Road 2 Riches tour, where he performed many of those independent hits all around the United States. The tour did well, connecting the fans to Yo Gotti. Fellow CMG artist, Zed Zilla, also benefited from the tour, as it served as the launch to his DJ Scream-hosted mixtape, Rent’s Due 2.
Finally off the road, Yo Gotti is still in the spotlight. With his buzz high, Black Men’s Magazine reached out to Yo Gotti. The Memphis emcee is covering the latest edition of the publication. Footage of the cover shoot of Yo Gotti was recently leaked to the internet, showing the behind the scenes of the shoot.
