Hip hop has gone through drastic overhauls over the past few years. Everything changes after a period of time. In hip hop, there has been a lot of changes, but one thing has remained constant. Busta Rhymes has continued to release hits, since he made his solo debut sixteen years ago. Before even going solo, Busta Rhymes was already a five year veteran.
Busta Rhymes was one of the few artists to remain relevant, when New York City entered their drought, which ended late last year. Now, with French Montana and A$AP Rocky leading a new wave in the Big Apple, Busta Rhymes is one of the veterans still earning success. The other veterans dominating are Nas and Jadakiss.
Recently, Busta Rhymes visited Shade 45 and he discussed his new album and the new energy in hip hop. Heavy Dedication TV captured the video, as Busta Rhymes credited Meek Mill, Reek da Villain, Tyler, the Creator, Kendrick Lamar, and many others.
