Teaming up with Chris Brown, Big Sean released his lead single, “My Last,” which went on to become one of the biggest hits of 2011.

Big Sean quickly rose to the same status as Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Wale during the summer of 2011. But, the summer of 2011 was entirely dominated by Rick Ross and Maybach Music. Suddenly, the crews have returned to hip hop. Maybach Music immediately overtook Young Money and Big Sean revealed G.O.O.D. Music would soon form a crew.

Signing Pusha T and working with 2 Chainz, Kanye West signed an exclusive deal with Def Jam. In 2012, the G.O.O.D. Music crew emerged. Now, G.O.O.D. Music is running neck-in-neck with Maybach Music and Young Money.
