During his interview with Hip Hop Vibe, Youngg Offishall credited the energy in Chicago being higher than ever before. Chicago has enjoyed its time in the spotlight, producing numerous hip hop mainstays, including Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco. However, when these artists go on hiatuses, there has not been anyone to fill the void.
Due to such artists as Youngg Offishall, this is no longer the case. Before he prepares to release his EP, via Island Def Jam, Youngg Offishall is warming the streets up. He teamed up with DJ Tay Don’t Play, DJ Flex, and DJ Fatz for his new mixtape The Return of Offishall Soprano.
Youngg Offishall is working with Hip Hop Vibe for The Return of Offishall Soprano, releasing two songs earlier today. One of the biggest rising rappers in Chicago, Youngg Offishall and Hip Hop Vibe have built a strong, communicative, alliance. In exactly a week, on September 10, Youngg Offishall will release his new mixtape here on Hip Hop Vibe.
