During Xzibit’s interview with Hip Hop Vibe, he said he did not feel as if the West Coast ever fell off. Instead, Xzibit said he felt the promotion was no longer there and went on to say they are becoming more self-sufficient. Problem is among the many rappers from the West Coast rising to prominence.
For years, Game was the only West Coast rapper, Los Angeles specifically, to emerge as a successful star in the rap game. However, Tyga, Kendrick Lamar, and Tyler, the Creator have enjoyed much success over the past two years. Problem is quickly following the same path.
Today, Problem releasedWelcome to Mollywood, Part 2, his highly-anticipated mixtape. Problem collaborated with quite a few established artists on his new release. Among those featured include E-40, Bad Lucc, and Clyde Carson. Other major names featured include French Montana, Young Jeezy, Chris Brown, and Red Cafe.
