Five days since the release of Kiss the Ring, DJ Khaled is still the center of attention, which he has been since 2006. DJ Khaled has gone from being a popular Miami DJ to being a fixture in Southern hip hop and now the biggest DJ, hands down. The growth DJ Khaled has experienced was showcased on his latest album.
DJ Khaled worked with many of hip hop’s biggest names and newcomers, such as J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and Nas. Following the trend of Cash Money Records, DJ Khaled’s aim is to continue growing with his music, both as a DJ and artist. Earlier this year, DJ Khaled completed his deal with YMCMB, moving his entire We the Best roster over to Cash Money Records.
There has been a lot of discussion about DJ Khaled’s collaboration with Just Blaze. Many expected this collaboration to be featured on Kiss the Ring. DJ Khaled recently spoke with MTV News about this. During the interview, DJ Khaled revealed their collaboration would not be featured on his new album.
