The past year has been great for Gunplay, who is developing into a star under the guidance of Rick Ross. Before Maybach Music was as big as they currently are, Gunplay was on the roster of the label. After the development of Wale and Meek Mill, the other Maybach Music artists are gaining fame.
Gunplay has enjoyed much success, having the opportunity to work with such artists as Kendrick Lamar. In the weeks leading up to the release of Self Made 2, Gunplay also conducted several interviews. During his interview with Hip Hop Vibe, Gunplay revealed he had the first verse on the first song on the album, “Power Circle.”
“Power Circle” has become one of the standout tracks on the album, with many agreeing Gunplay was the standout artist. Recently, Gunplay spoke with Life + Times, where he decoded his “Power Circle” verse.
