The time it has taken Beanie Sigel to officially complete his comeback has been actually longer than his initial run. In the early 2000s, Beanie Sigel rose to fame when Jay-Z made him the focal point of Roc-A-Fella Records. During this period of time, the New York-based label signed many Philadelphia-area artists.

Beanie Sigel was the leader of State Property, a group and record label, which included Freeway, the Young Gunz, and Peedi Crakk. State Property Records was one of many subsidiaries of Roc-A-Fella Records. Memphis Bleek was the head of the Get Low Records’ movement.

After going to prison, Beanie Sigel returned in 2005, as Roc-A-Fella Records continued to crumble. By 2008, the dismantling was complete and Jay-Z was now the head of a new label named Roc Nation. Beanie Sigel engaged in a feud with Jay-Z in 2009 and is now preparing his comeback, before he goes back to prison. Last month, the State Property leader reunited with his crew for “The Reunion.”

Now, the crew comes together for the official music video for their properly-titled reunion track.
