Not so long ago, Mr. Collipark was one of the most-discussed names in hip hop. Before the wave of the “new Atlanta” movement, Atlanta was on top of the rap game, with the Crunk movement being prominent. During this period of time, Mr. Collipark built a solid roster of artists on his Collipark record label. Among those artists included Soulja Boy and Hurricane Chris.

Mr. Collipark once had a deal with Interscope Records and a growing roster of talent. In recent years, however, Soulja Boy appeared to be separated from Mr. Collipark. Most of the artists who were associated with Mr. Collpark had fallen out of the public eye. While Mr. Collipark disappeared, he continued making moves.

Currently, Mr. Collipark is doing business with Malaco Records, a legendary R&B and Soul label, which was founded in the early 1970s. The label was often overlooked by most, as Motown Records was always met with more acclaim. However, Mr. Collipark is preparing to change things, as he discussed his deal with the legendary label during his interview with Q the Question.
