Before he was sentenced to prison, earlier this year, Mystikal was in the middle of a strong comeback. Eleven years have passed since Mystikal lasted released a new album. After working independently for two years, Mystikal signed with New Orleans powerhouse, Cash Money Records.
Mystikal became the first artist to be signed to both No Limit and Cash Money, becoming a fixture on the internet. However, as Mystikal was re-gaining his position in the rap game, he slipped. As he was preparing for a summer takeover, Mystikal was sent to prison for three months, over “Bullshit.”
Preparing for his prison stint, Mystikal released an EP, which was led by his single, “Bullshit.” This was the last single Mystikal dropped before he spent the summer behind bars. Now a free man, Mystikal returns with a very animated music video for “Bullshit,” picking up exactly where he left off.
