Brooklyn has played a major role in New York City’s resurgence in hip hop. Troy Ave is one of the biggest names in Brooklyn, right now. Making a name for himself through his popular mixtapes, Troy Ave finds his career at an all-time high. In 2012, Troy Ave has found himself on several websites and even appeared on MTV2.
Currently, Troy Ave is one of the most popular New York rappers, period. One of the newer artists out, the Brooklyn emcee has several mixtapes to his name. While he has more on the way, Troy Ave has built a strong fan base. Even with French Montana and A$AP Rocky standing at the forefront of New York’s hip hop scene, the search for more stars is ongoing.
