Last night, Mac Miller and Wiz Khalifa stopped in New York last night for their “Under the Influence” tour. Mac Miller performed, alongside Wiz Khalifa at Jones Beach. The area has become a hoted for hip hop over the past few months. Several major artists have performed there this year, among them are A$AP Rocky and Big Sean.
Mac Miller performed in Jones Beach last night, once again taking over the crowd. A mixture between the old school and new school, Mac Miller has built quite the fan base. What has been most impressive about his rise has been Mac Miller’s decision to remain independent. Building his fan base through the internet and signing with a local label and Mac Miller released his article this way.
MTV News caught up with Mac Miller after his performance. During their conversation, Mac Miller spoke on how rewarded he felt to perform in front of 15,000 people. Among other channels, Mac Miller has become a fixture on MTV.
