Things are not the way they used to be at G-Unit. Interscope Records is no longer backing the label and Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo are back on the mixtape circuit. In recent weeks, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo have been making news. Last week, Banks released his mixtape, V6: The Gift.
Tony Yayo revealed his new mixtape, Sex, Drugs, & Hip Hop, while Lloyd Banks was working on his project. During this period of time, Tony Yayo released the official artwork for the mixtape. While the artwork and the track listing for the mixtape came quickly, the release date did not.
As early as this morning, the mixtape to Tony Yayo’s Sex, Drugs, & Hip Hop was not official. However, a few hours ago, the mixtape came and has already been downloaded by a number of people. Tony Yayo has been out of the spotlight for some time and this mixtape is his first step towards a comeback.
