Recently, Nas completed one of the biggest comebacks in hip hop history, as his new album, Life is Good, has been a complete success. The album comes four years after the release of Nas’ last album, Untitled. Itself, Untitled was one of the more interesting albums in the works.

Nas originally intended to name Untitled, controversially, Nigger. Though the title was approved by hip hop, it was the companies who had issues. Def Jam ultimately refused to release an album with such a title. Eventually, Nas caved in and decided to not title the album at all.

The Queens rapper recently spoke to BBC Radio 1’s Benji B about his previous album, saying Jay Electronica was supposed to be involved. Nas said Jay Electronica had several ideas for the album. Because of these ideas, he wanted Jay Electronica to handle the bulk of the project, but many things on that album did not turn out as Nas expected.
