Since 2009, Tyler, the Creator has been releasing music on the internet, making a name for himself. Tyler, the Creator and his Odd Future rose to fame at a time when the Los Angeles hip hop scene was in the midst of a comeback. Many others have gained fame during this period, including Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q.

Last summer, Tyler, the Creator became one of the biggest new faces in the rap game off the success of Goblin. The album featured the controversial single, “Yonkers,” and the creepy romantic ballad, “She,” featuring Frank Ocean. Tyler, the Creator closed the summer of 2011 with an MTV VMA for ‘Best New Artist.’

Even last year, Tyler, the Creator was preparing Wolf, his third studio album. Last year, Tyler revealed his album would be released in May of 2012. However, with new projects from other Odd Future acts, this was put on hold. Tyler, the Creator recently revealed, however, his Wolf album would be released in November.
