Ice T talks “Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap” with Blatantly Blunt [VIDEO]

Over the past year, Ice T has returned to the headlines. Every week, Ice T can be found on NBC on, starring in “Law & Order: Special Victim’s Unit.” Long before this, the West Coast rapper made a name for himself as a pioneer in gangsta rap. Over the past decade plus, however, Ice T has found his niche in acting.

Though Ice T rarely releases new music, he did contribute to hip hop in a major way earlier this year with his Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap. The documentary featured commentary from some of the biggest names in hip hop. Among the artists featured in the documentary include Eminem and Common.

Ice T previously made his media rounds, discussing the documentary. Recently, Blatantly Blunt caught up with Ice T and he further explained. During the interview, Ice T discussed what people can learn from the film, figures in history he respects, and who he regretted not including in the film. Ice T spoke on a wide range of topics.
