Hip hop in Kentucky is often overlooked, as the area has yet to produce a major star, but DJ Cinemax is quickly becoming a known figure. DJ Cinemax has had the opportunity to work with many major hip hop artists and personalities. On his latest mixtape, DJ Cinemax teamed up with DJ New Era.
From Alabama, which is fresh off the success of Yelawolf, DJ New Era has found his fan base steadily increasing. DJ New Era is behind several successful mixtape releases from a number of Alabama rappers. Those close to DJ New Era have dubbed him the Tyler Perry of mixtapes.
DJ Cinema and DJ New Era have come together for a new mixtape, which they have titled Meet The Connect 2. Among the artists featured on the new compilation include 2 Chainz, Birdman, Gucci Mane, Maino, Paypa, Chief Keef, and Jadakiss. Also featured on the mixtape is rising Atlanta rapper, Sy Ari Da Kid, who also hosts the mixtape.
