Last week, 50 Cent was asked why he has been distant from his G-Unit rhyming partners, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. 50 Cent revealed he has been doing everything for them for the past ten years. Wanting to do more for himself, 50 Cent said he wants them to follow suit and do something for themselves.
Several months have passed since Lloyd Banks revealed he would soon return with a new mixtape, V6. After the announcement of the mixtape, Lloyd Banks disappeared, again. Since the 2010 release of HFM 2, Lloyd Banks has been out of the public eye, but has had goals of making a major return.
Perhaps hearing 50 Cent’s interview, where he practically insulted Lloyd Banks, the popular Queens rapper released his “Bring it Back” single with Fabolous. The day after the release of the new single, Lloyd Banks returns with more information. Banks revealed his new mixtape, V6: The Gift, will be released on July 24 at noon via DatPiff.
