Reid currently holds a position with XXL, serving as Editor-At-Large for the famous publication. So far, in 2012, Shaheem Reid has proved to be more than a writer, as he has been very heavy on the mixtape scene.
Rick Ross got a jump on 2012 with the Rich Forever mixtape release. Among those tapped to be a part of the project was Shaheem Reid. During his interview with Elite Money Empire, Reid spoke on his work with Rick Ross. Being a part of the most-popular mixtape in history, Shaheem Reid said he was honored.

As he spoke about his work with Rick Ross and Maybach Music, Shaheem Reid also discussed his work with Jadakiss. Throughout the conversation, Reid spoke on other topics, including DJ Khaled’s upcoming album, Kiss the Ring, Jay-Z, and even President Obama.
