Late in the winter, early this year, Iggy Azalea gained international fame, as she was then signed to Interscope Records. At the time, T.I. was preparing his own comeback, both musically and in business. T.I. reached out to Iggy Azalea in hopes of being the executive producer for her album, The New Classic.
Iggy Azalea would eventually sign with Grand Hustle Records, thus being dropped from Interscope Records. Later, Iggy Azalea revealed she was still signed to the management arm of Interscope. T.I. also spoke on Iggy Azalea’s label deal, stating she was signed to Grand Hustle, but not the Atlantic Records distribution.
Still searching for representation, however, Iggy Azalea has signed with Wilhelmina Models International, Inc. The company will explore and develop endorsement, editorial and licensing opportunities for Iggy. Also representing Fergie, among other figures, Iggy Azalea stated she was excited about joining the company.
