In November 2009, B.G. was arrested, along with two other men, for possession of illegal weapons. The former Cash Money Records star is facing eight to ten years in prison for both the weapons and witness tampering. At the age of 31, B.G. will become the second Louisiana rapper in as many months to stand trial, facing prison time.

Lil’ Boosie was recently cleared of all charges regarding the 2009 murder of Terry Boyd. Boyd was the uncle to Lil’ Boosie’s daughter. A friend of Lil’ Boosie was the actual culprit, but law enforcement stated Boosie paid him to complete the job. Eventually, it was revealed the situation was manipulated by law enforcement and Lil’ Boosie was set free.

For B.G., on July 18, he will be sentenced for his crimes, but the prosecutors are hoping to put him behind bars for much longer than eight to ten years.
