Before Maybach Music became the powerhouse it currently is, the MMG roster was still making big moves. As Rick Ross was still gaining his position in the rap game, he introduced the world to his group, the Triple Cs. The group featured Rick Ross, along with Young Breed, Gunplay, and Torch.

Three years since the release of the Triple Cs album, Rick Ross has become the biggest rapper in the game. It is impossible to turn on any form of media and not hear something from Maybach Music. The roster is much larger than it was in 2009, as the label has added Wale, Meek Mill, and Stalley, only naming a few.

In recent weeks, Gunplay has been making his media rounds, earlier speaking here with Hip Hop Vibe, and he most recently spoke with Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club.” During his conversation with “The Breakfast Club,” Gunplay touched on a number of topics, including the label situation with Maybach Music and Def Jam.
