Throughout his career, Kanye West has been doubted. Early in his career, even the people on his team did not believe he could truly rap. But, after hearing “Jesus Walks,” their opinion about his skills as an emcee changed. It has been eight years since Kanye West released his debut album. In the years since then, West has become one of the biggest rappers in the game.

Following another hiatus, Kanye West is back and has reclaimed one of the top positions in the game. This time around, however, Kanye West has organized his team. For years, Kanye West has been the head of G.O.O.D. Music. Past the Roc-A-Fella days, Kanye West has now established his own deal with Def Jam and has a full roster of talent.

On his latest album, Cruel Summer, Kanye West teamed up with his G.O.O.D. Music roster to help him complete the project. Currently, the “Mercy” single, which features Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Pusha T, has become a big hit. Others involved in the project, such as CyHi da Prynce, Mannie Fresh, and Common also spoke on the project with MTV News.
