During the early 2000s, the Atlanta hip hop scene rose to the forefront on the rap game. Initially led by the likes of Outkast, Jermaine Dupri, and later Ludacris, the Crunk movement took over and talent, such as Lil Jon and the Ying Yang Twins found success. However, since their 2004 release, the Ying Yang Twins have been relatively silent. Currently, the duo is preparing comeback material.
A minor hitch in their comeback happened earlier today. Futuristic Blogger recently reported about Ying Yang Twin, Deongelo Holmes, was arrested in Atlanta for driving under the influence. The Ying Yang Twin was driving through Atlanta with his children when he was pulled over. Upon being pulled over, Holmes proved positive for alcohol and he also admitted to smoking marijuana.
Recently, the Ying Yang Twins returned with their own remix of Justin Bieber’s hip hop-inspired single, “Boyfriend.”
