As talented and legendary as she is, Lil’ Kim’s career has been primarily defined by hip hop beef. Introduced to the game as a member of The Notorious B.I.G.’s crew, Lil’ Kim was immediately brought into the bi-coastal feud, headlined by Tupac Shakur. Individually, though, Lil’ Kim’s primary feuds have been with Foxy Brown and Nicki Minaj.

Throughout the early part of her career, Lil’ Kim and Foxy Brown engaged in a vicious rap battle. Their feud was very personal, though the two began as frequent collaborators. In many ways, their issues stemmed from their similar styles. With both femcees being natives of Brooklyn, they often worked with many of the same rappers.

Following a short feud with Remy Ma, Lil’ Kim began exchanging disses with Nicki Minaj, who she felt used her style without paying homage. Lil’ Kim had already commented on the new alliance between Nicki Minaj and Foxy Brown, quoting herself “hot damn ho, here we go again.”

Lil’ Kim’s rant continued, as she spoke on how she truly feels about the female rap game.

Read Lil’ Kim’s rant below:

“Hot damn ho here we go again. Monkey see monkey do. I heard the haters are joining forces against the Queen. LMAO !!!! Have a great show!!! Break a leg!!!! Hahahaha!!!! My love for the female hip hop movement has always been genuine. All the females I’ve been bringing out recently I have love for. If u see anybody else doing it … Its not genuine …Know it’s only to copy and compete with me …….. For those of u who have been brainwashed by the fraud …Let’s open our eyes now people …the clone is not bringing ladies out for the luv. It’s strictly because I’m doing it ! Love u Team Kim and all my fans across the world ..they’ll believe one day very.”
