Just when many were beginning to question where she went, Shawnna returned with a new project, properly titled She’s Alive. Initially, this project was just a mixtape, but after working more on the project, Shawnna turned it into an album. This decision has led to even more interest in Shawnna’s comeback effort. Two years ago, Shawnna left the game, unexpectedly.
Continuing to make her media rounds, Shawnna now heads over to Shade 45 to speak with Sway Calloway on his “Sway in the Morning.” During her interview with Sway, Shawnna spoke on a number of topics, giving fans an opportunity to get to know her. Though she is a Chicago native, fans only had a chance to see Shawnna in the South.
When she spoke with Sway, Shawnna discussed Chicago, the favorite topic for female rappers, Lil’ Kim and Nicki Minaj, and the question many want to know, her departure from Disturbing tha Peace.
