Lil Wayne enjoys a love/hate relationship with his fans. Last September, during the middle of a performance, Lil Wayne told some excited fans to “shut the fuck up.” Despite having the fan thrown out, there was no lasting impact on Wayne’s actions. Instead, Lil Wayne has become more popular and successful.
TMZ recently reported Lil Wayne and his entourage got into another altercation with excited fans, but this time things got physical. According to the entertainment website, an excited fan was trying to capture a photo of Lil Wayne without his permission. Given Lil Wayne’s status, taking a photograph of him without his permission can cause many problems.
For Alfred Marino, he discovered this the hard way on May 3, 2012. Happening upon Lil Wayne and his crew skateboarding, an attempt to capture a photo led to him being hit with a skateboard. After asking to take a photo, he was denied and his own attempt led to violence. According to Marino, Wayne threatened him, saying “Don’t you know all it takes is a word and these motherf**kers are going to f**k you up?
