Kendrick Lamar was the first artist to breakthrough and he introduced his label-mates when his position was solidified. ScHoolboy Q is easily the most-recognizable name behind Kendrick Lamar, as he is on a quest for stardom.
ScHoolboy Q has proven to be one of hip hop’s most-interesting new artists. Watching 50 Cent rise to fame in Los Angeles a decade ago, ScHoolboy Q sees him as inspiration. Now, he is following in the footsteps of 50 Cent, working with Dr. Dre. As he continues his mixtape success, the world is finding ScHoolboy Q to be among hip hop’s most talented new artists as well.
