Everything 2 Chainz touches turns to gold now. For over a year, 2 Chainz has been releasing indepedent songs, leading him to a joint venture deal with Def Jam. Already affiliated with Ludacris and his Disturbing tha Peace label, 2 Chainz easily rose to stardom. Known as one half of Playaz Circle as Tity Boi, 2 Chainz was signed to DTP.
2 Chainz has watched as everything he wanted came to life, putting him in a position among the top of the hip hop world. Currently touring with Drake on the “Club Paradise” tour and the Young Money emcee revealed he would soon do a song with 2 Chainz. Immediately after he announced the collaboration, 2 Chainz announced his first official single, “No Lie.”
The next day, 2 Chainz officially released “No Lie,” which featured Drake. In less than a week, “No Lie” has become one of the most-popular new songs out there. The man behind the beat is current top beatsmith, Mike WiLL. Karmaloop TV recently caught up with him and he explained how the beat came to be.
