The Atlanta emcee began revamping his style, starting with changing his name, and he embarked on a solo journey. 2 Chainz soon began releasing a number of mixtapes in Atlanta, filled with both original songs and remixes to current singles. It was only a matter of time before the buzz 2 Chainz was causing began to catch the attention of others.
