Last week, Rick Ross revealed Maybach Music Group would be holding a press conference, saying it was a must-see for hip hop fans. Over the past year, Rick Ross has proven MMG is one of the top brands in hip hop and when he says must-see, it has to be true. Maybach Music has been making big moves and have made a name for themselves by signing numerous artist.
Unlike other labels who have made power plays in the past, Maybach Music has actually made an effort to release and promote music from all of their artists. Just one year ago, the world barely knew who Meek Mill and Wale were. With them now household names, Ross is reintroducing the world to Torch, Gunplay, Young Breed, and the other original members of the Maybach Music Group, along with Maybach Dice.
Rick Ross recently spoke to Sway Calloway about the upcoming MMG press conference. In the interview, Rick Ross hinted towards the press conference being an announcement of release dates of long-awaited music. However, many feel the press conference will introduce new members of Maybach Music to the public. There is a chance the press conference could be a combination of all those theories.
