Typically, fans can look for a new Ice Cube album every two years. Late last year, Ice Cube revealed he had started recording his tenth studio album. With the year close to ending, there was a slim chance of Ice Cube releasing the new project before the end of the year. In between producing movies, with the fourth, and final, edition of Friday on the way, Ice Cube has limited time for music.

However, Ice Cube has remained in the spotlight, with the number of projects he has in the works. Recently, he spoke with MTV News about his upcoming projects. Close to getting Chris Tucker to return to Friday and share scenes with Mike Epps, Ice Cube has announced his return to music. Keeping up with his every other year tradition, Ice Cube annouunced his new album.

Everything’s Corrupt is the name of Ice Cube’s new album. This album will see Ice Cube return to his hardcore roots. Ice Cube described the new project as “really hardcore West Coast hip hop.” Sticking to what works is what Ice Cube is doing with this album. Ice Cube spoke more in-depth about his new album during his interview with MTV.
