Two years ago, things were looking good for Roc-A-Fella Records, Curren$y, and Damon Dash. Dash, who famously caught the raw deal in the Roc-A-Fella Records split, with Jay-Z nearing billionaire status, while Dash lost a considerable amount of money. Things appeared to be turning around for Damon Dash when he revealed he regained Roc-A-Fella Records and he planned to rebuild the record label around Curren$y.

Because of this, many were shocked when Curren$y filed a lawsuit against Damon Dash over the releases of his Pilot Talk albums. Though Curren$y left Damon Dash’s Roc-A-Fella Records in favor of a new hip hop-oriented Warner Bros. Records, many felt he was still on good terms with Damon Dash, given his experience in the game. In the time since the lawsuit was filed against Dash, Curren$y has been silent and Dash has spoken through his lawyer.

Curren$y spoke with XXL very briefly about his lawsuit with Damon Dash. When asked how things were going, Curren$y said things would end with a positive outcome. Still not sure what is going to happen, Curren$y promised he would tell XXL his decision when something did happen.
