Two years ago, Consequence shocked fans when he left G.O.O.D. Music and began feuding with the artists on the label. As Consequence was leaving the label, Pusha T was being signed. Consequence accused Pusha T of stealing his lyrics for a song and it turned into a full-fledged feud, though his issues were with Kanye West.
For a year, Consequence sent shots at Kanye West and Pusha T. While the media asked several questions about the feud, Kanye West and Pusha T never released a diss record. But, when Pusha T spoke on the feud, he said he will not diss Consequence because of the relationship he once had with Kanye, but said they never mention him.
Late in 2011, after finally getting a response out of Pusha T, Consequence ended his feud with Kanye West and his cousin, Q-Tip. After ending the family feud, Q-Tip also signed to the G.O.O.D. Music label, which Kanye West has attached to Def Jam. With everything behind them, Consequence discussed the relationship and his place in the rap game.
