In the wake of Australian sensation, Iggy Azalea rising to fame, Harlem femcee, Azealia Banks, has had choice words for her rival, claiming she stole her name. While she has called out T.I.’s protege, Azealia Banks has not relied on beef to make a name for herself. She has captivated fans, easily becoming one of the most-popular female rappers from Harlem.

With Nicki Minaj hailing from New York City and meeting much success, the stage is set for another major artist to debut. Azealia Banks has positioned herself to be the next female in the game to take over. Over the past few months, Banks has been hard at work on her EP, which is titled 1991, Banks’ year of birth.

Late last month, Azealia Banks promised 1991 would be released in April. With half of April gone, Azealia Banks has revealed the EP has been pushed back again. Banks has a new management team and they have forced her to delay the project. Promising these will be the final delays, Banks said the delay took place to make the project better, overall.
