Havoc denies Mobb Deep breakup rumors

The internet went haywire when Havoc ranted on Twitter against his Mobb Deep partner in rhyme, Prodigy. The duo, who appeared to be “closer than brothers,” now seemed to be on the brink of ending their longtime partnership. Given the closeness the two have had for over twenty years, several hip hop websites focused on the “feud.”

Throughout the day, many have hypothesised about the fate of Mobb Deep. The duo has represented Queens, New York “to the fullest” ever since they released their first song together. Mobb Deep played an instrumental role in the feud between Jay-Z and Nas, ending up feuding with both rappers.

After a long day, Havoc has finally returned home and released a statement. Upon accessing his media, Havoc has learned of the apparent rant he posted against Prodigy. Havoc denied the end of Mobb Deep and said the Twitter account has been shut down. From the way things appear, Havoc’s Twitter has been hacked.

Read Havoc’s message below:

“Just getting back into NY after my Easter weekend with family and friends in Jersey. I left my phone at a gas station yesterday evening while on my way to Jersey after a glorious Knick’s game. To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual! It’s Mobb Deep all day!!! My twitter account @THEREALHAVOC will be down until further notice. The only other real account is @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP. Ignore the rest. One!”
