Two of the hottest rappers on the mixtape level are French Montana and 2 Chainz. Both rappers built solid buzz through their mixtapes and caused bidding wars in 2011. French Montana eventually signed with Bad Boy Records, while 2 Chainz eventually signed a joint venture deal with Def Jam. While they were causing bidding wars, Game was releasing his long-awaited The R.E.D. Album and he is now making up for lost time, with his California Republic mixtape, which will be followed by a new album. The latest leak from the mixtape is the French Montana and 2 Chainz-assisted “Mean Muggin.”
