Rick Ross speaks on his success in Europe

Without releasing an album last year, Rick Ross was all over the internet, television, and radio, establishing himself as a force in the rap game. Rick Ross originally intended to close 2011, the model year of his career, with the release of his God Forgives, I Don’t album. However, two seizures two months before the release of his album led to Rick Ross being delayed until 2012.

Rick Ross promised to make it up to his fans with the release of Rich Forever. The opening days of 2012 saw the release of the mixtape, which is said to have over 10 million downloads. One goal Ross had in his career was to go diamond, something he technically did. Months after the release of the mixtape, “Stay Schemin,'” featuring Drake and French Montana, is still being played.

Rich Forever has had a major impact on hip hop, as Rick Ross is currently in Europe, touring in promotion of the mixtape. While out in Europe, Rick Ross sat down for an interview, discussing the mixtape and the position he holds in the rap game. Once considered “regional,” Rick Ross is the most in-demand artist in the game, Dr. Dre collaborations to boot, now Rick Ross is on the verge of a filmmaking career.

With all of his dreams coming true, Rozay, as Rick Ross is commonly called, only wishes the same success for those who may be “biting” his style.
