The growth at Shady Records, which has been titled Shady 2.0, has been underminded with the departures of longtime Shady acts. As Eminem was negotiating to sign Slaughterhouse, Obie Trice decided to leave Shady Records. When Yelawolf was added to the roster, Ca$his decided it was time for him to depart the label.

As Shady Records is preparing for a year full of new releases, longtime artist/producer Mr. Porter, also known as Kon Artis, has revealed his departure from the label. Mr. Porter is the second D12 member to leave the group and the label. Bizarre recently revealed he decided to leave Shady Records to start his own movement.

While leaving Shady Records and D12, Mr. Porter said he will always cherish the memories they have, as a group. Clearing up any possible rumors of friction, Mr. Porter revealed he would continue to serve as the hypeman for Eminem. Along with wishing his former group-mates the best, Mr. Porter revealed his previous alias, Kon Artis, is officially dead.
